I can't Thank 'Rescue Me' enough. After a whole year Mr. Jing Jing has found his furever home. It was one of the hardest placements I had. He needed to be in a home where he was the only child. 'Rescue Me' made this happen for him. A wonderful adopter who lives in NYC loves him to pieces. His new Mom has taken patience with him and he is behaving well. I will be able to visit him and I love that. I will continue to post hoping for such great homes for other cats as well. He was my first Oriental rescue and he will always have a special place in my heart.

Thanks to Rescue Me's Oriental Rescue for their help in placing our loved ones into the homes that they deserve. Suki has such a home with a wonderful woman who knows just what to do with problem cats. Suki is coming along slowly but steadily with his socializing issues with humans. She is working with him daily to bring him around and she keeps me posted on a regular basis. Attempts are being made on the part of her cats as well to be friends with Suki however, Suki will still hiss and swat at her cats after awhile so it is short-lived but it is monumental when it happens. She will find them together and she has sent me pictures of Suki sitting along side of her white male OSH and another picture of Suki sitting along side of her white female OSH. She tells me that Suki is nasty to her Bengal as well but he can't hold out forever as he needs to make friends eventually. Whatever happened to Suki in his former life as a 'show cat' and 'stud' is a shame as it truly had a negative affect on his socialization skills. I rescued him from that situation and had him 2 years. He was such a buddy with my male OSH Winky but eventually he was being mistreated by Winky and it became an impossible situation. It wasn't the kind of life that I wanted for Suki to be constantly abused by my domineering, aggressive, and possessive male. My hopes are that Suki will have a buddy that will be a buddy back to him! As for Winky, well he is alone now without a buddy and only has my husband and myself which is what he wanted. I will not get another OSH to be subjected to his abuse. It's such a shame that he is this way to other cats because Winky is a very personable, loving, devoted cat to us. I didn't know how to handle the situation anymore. Thank you Kathy for caring so much about Suki and giving so much of yourself to his recovery. I just wanted to tell the story about Suki. Thank you Jeff for your help in giving Suki exposure on this rescue site.
